About Buganalyst

Bug reports that fix themselves — built on a simple idea: the distance between finding a bug and fixing it should be as short as possible.

Why Buganalyst exists

Every product team knows the feeling: a user hits a bug, shrugs, and leaves — or sends an email that says “the page is broken” with no other details. The bug was real, someone saw it happen, and the information still never reached a developer in a form they could act on. Buganalyst exists to close that gap.

We build an embeddable bug report widget that lets users report issues in the exact moment and place they experience them. Each report automatically carries the context a developer needs to reproduce the problem — the page URL, viewport size, browser environment, and an optional screenshot or video — and is routed straight into the tools teams already use, like Slack and Trello.

What we believe

Reporting a bug should take seconds, not minutes. Every extra step in a feedback flow filters out another slice of the people who would have told you something was broken. That is why the widget is a single script tag and the report form is two fields and a button.

Context should be captured, not requested. “Which page were you on? Which browser?” adds a day of latency per question. Reports should arrive with the answers built in.

Feedback belongs where teams already work. A report that lands in a dashboard nobody checks is barely better than no report. Slack and Trello routing are first-class features, not afterthoughts.

What we build

The core product is a lightweight JavaScript widget that works on any stack — static sites, WordPress, React, Vue, or server-rendered apps — with no build step and no SDK. Behind it sits a dashboard for managing widgets, browsing reports, and configuring integrations, plus AI-assisted analysis that can propose fixes and open pull requests on GitHub for connected repositories.

We write regularly about bug reporting, triage, QA practices, and developer workflows on our blog, drawing on what we see across the teams using Buganalyst every day.
